Constance Louise Saalig, age 68, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Montclair Hospital Medical Center from cancer. She was born at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on July 26, 1948. She grew up in Ontario, Montclair, and Upland, California where she attended Berlin Elementary School and graduated from Montclair High School in 1966. She married Ed Saalig on March 21, 1970; they were married for 47 years. Connie was a RN at San Antonio Community Hospital for 36 years, an avid reader, a world traveler, a gourmet cook, and a devoted wife...

Constance Louise Saalig, age 68, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Montclair Hospital Medical Center from cancer. She was born at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on July 26, 1948. She grew up in Ontario, Montclair, and Upland, California where she attended Berlin Elementary School and graduated from Montclair High School in 1966. She married Ed Saalig on March 21, 1970; they were married for 47 years. Connie was a RN at San Antonio Community Hospital for 36 years, an avid reader, a world traveler, a gourmet cook, and a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member of the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene and a devout Christian. She was an example of God's love to her children and husband.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and William Joseph; her brother, William Joseph, Jr., and her daughter, Amy Catherine Saalig. She is survived by her husband, Ed Saalig; her daughter, Kristen Saalig; her son, David Saalig of Upland; her sister, Lori Markowitz and her husband, Mitch, and their two children, Trevor and Micole of Yorba Linda; and a sister-in-law, Eloisa Joseph and her daughter Dr. Elise Rio and her children of Corona.

A visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California 91762 on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. Graveside service will begin at 11:30 AM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, California following the visitation.

A Memorial Service will take place at Ontario First Church of the Nazarene, 1131 W. Fifth Street, Ontario, California on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM. Rev. Don Rucker, Rev. Larry Pritcher, and Rev. Rob Calderhead will officiate. A light dinner and fellowship will follow at the Family Life Center at the church.
